Job Description:
The VP, Client Services serves as the primary liaison between the client, creative agencies' senior leadership, and our organization. This role focuses on nurturing and strengthening client relationships, ensuring account retention, and driving account growth. The VP, Client Services plays a pivotal role in aligning the interests and strategies of both client and our organization, offering insights and guidance to the extended team for mutual success.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and sustain robust client relationships, serving as a trusted advocate for client needs.
- Translate marketing and brand strategies into actionable insights and strategies for the media team.
- Act as a brand champion, understanding brand objectives, strategies, competitors, and targets to engage in strategic discussions with clients effectively.
- Address challenging situations and navigate account complexities, setting clear client expectations and facilitating difficult conversations independently.
- Proactively identify and address client needs, collaborating with teams to implement effective solutions.
- Oversee the financial performance of accounts, guiding the team in client projections, forecasting, and reconciliations on a monthly and annual basis.
- Lead strategic media planning efforts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and strategies.
- Collaborate with account teams on day-to-day account management, facilitating tactical requirements and ensuring timely and flawless project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, particularly within the media and pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors.
- Participate in new business RFPs and pitches as required.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in an agency environment, with at least 2 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare settings.
- Demonstrated experience in client management roles.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
