Job Description:
As the Director of Paid Social Media, you will lead and elevate our paid social practice, playing a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our clients' paid social campaigns. Reporting to the SVP Global Media, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic recommendations rooted in data-driven insights to achieve our clients' business objectives. We are seeking a hands-on leader with a passion for leading teams and operating brand awareness and lead generation campaigns at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy and Planning: Lead the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of all paid social campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and more. Develop audience targeting strategies, budget recommendations, and optimization strategies to maximize campaign performance.
- Creative Direction: Provide direction and guidance to clients and creative agencies in developing creative and messaging that align with campaign objectives and audience targeting.
- Campaign Optimization: Oversee the monitoring of campaign performance, bidding strategies, data analysis, and implementation of optimization strategies to improve key performance indicators.
- Budget Management: Strategically manage and allocate budgets to maximize reach and achieve client's desired outcomes. Monitor spend patterns, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to optimize budget allocations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Develop and deliver regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights. Provide actionable recommendations for optimizing performance and achieving business objectives. Utilize data analysis tools such as Google Analytics to derive insights.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in paid social marketing. Share industry insights and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Omnichannel Planning team and other Channel Leads to assess overall campaign performance and communicate Paid Social's role effectively.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in media planning, buying, and execution of paid social media campaigns, with a focus on platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn. Healthcare/Pharma experience is advantageous.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and executing paid social strategies that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Proficiency in operating paid social campaigns at scale, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and best practices across platforms.
- Familiarity with Facebook ad platforms, LinkedIn ad platform, Excel, Tableau, Google Analytics, and/or similar reporting dashboards and analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from campaign data.
- In-depth knowledge of paid social advertising tools, audience targeting strategies, ad creative development, and conversion optimization techniques.
- Relevant certifications in Meta or other digital advertising platforms are beneficial.
- Results-oriented mindset with a keen attention to detail and ability to think strategically.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while also being a team player.
- Experience in Organic Social is a plus.
