Job Description:

As the Director of Programmatic Advertising, you will lead our programmatic team in developing data-driven, audience-centric campaigns, managing budgets, tracking performance, and supporting client goals. Reporting to the SVP of Media, you will have a client-facing role while closely collaborating with the programmatic execution team to deliver exceptional programmatic campaigns and results.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a team of experts responsible for programmatic execution of client campaigns.
  • Develop and deliver programmatic media strategy recommendations for clients.
  • Provide strategic leadership on process, audience strategies, campaign optimization, and the growth of the programmatic practice.
  • Forge partnerships with existing and new partners across platforms, data, and inventory to deliver innovative opportunities that align with client business objectives.
  • Generate, deliver, and present client reporting data and insights in collaboration with the programmatic execution team, other paid media channel teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on creative best practices specific to programmatic advertising.
  • Demonstrate understanding of tracking implementation (pixels, UTMs, etc.) and trafficking processes.
  • Maintain cutting-edge knowledge of the media landscape and analytics tools (DSPs, DMPs, CDPs).
  • Lead thought leadership efforts by authoring and reviewing programmatic-related POVs, case studies, and insights based on industry updates, trends, and findings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in programmatic media, with healthcare and/or pharma experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience mentoring a team of programmatic planners and buyers.
  • Subject matter expertise in Programmatic Marketing.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic media's value and its integration into holistic marketing approaches.
  • Proficiency in platforms such as multiple DSPs (Trade Desk, PulsePoint, DeepIntent, etc.), Microsoft Office suite, ad serving platforms, tableau, Google Analytics, and/or similar reporting dashboards.
  • Familiarity with awareness and consideration metrics used for campaign measurement.
  • Strong digital media background and project management skills.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.

Note: The Director of Programmatic Advertising will play a critical role in driving the success of programmatic campaigns, providing strategic guidance, fostering innovation, and delivering actionable insights to support client objectives.
